Seattle, WA, March 22, 2010 - Mpire, the market-leading advertising analytics and optimization technology company, today announced that it has promoted Kirby Winfield to president, formalizing the day to day management role that he has assumed in addition to his role as chief revenue officer.
Over the past year, Mr. Winfield was responsible for growing the company and accelerating the adoption of Mpire’s patent-pending and award-winning AdXpose® campaign verification and optimization solution. Under his guidance, the company has signed multiple strategic partnerships with prominent digital media companies such as MediaCom, AudienceScience, comScore, and Yahoo, and increased its customer base to more than 100. He also oversaw the development and February launch of AdXpose®’s proactive ad blocking solution, which protects brand advertisers by preventing their ads from being displayed next to objectionable content.
To capitalize on the broad acceptance of AdXpose® Analytics, the company hired Ryan Polley as senior vice president of strategic development. In this role, Mr. Polley will assume many of the client service and business development functions once performed by Mr. Winfield, in addition to responsibility for creating deep partnerships with the leading online analytics and media platforms. Mr. Polley will report to Mr. Winfield.
Mr. Polley's 14 year career has been focused on the online advertising marketplace in various capacities, both nationally and internationally. Prior to joining Mpire, Mr. Polley served as president of Dragon Media Online, a technology-enabled advertising company founded by Mediaplex founder Gregory Raifman. Mr. Polley became president after the 2007 acquisition of Don’t Blink Media, where he was president and CEO. Mr. Polley remains an active board member at the company.
Prior to Dragon Media Online, Mr. Polley served as vice president of business development at Marchex, Inc., a publicly traded local online advertising company. He also served as director of partnerships at Classmates Online until its acquisition by United Online. Ryan began his internet career at Design Intelligence followed by several leadership roles at RealNetworks, Inc. over five years.

In addition, Mpire announced that it has moved its headquarters to downtown Seattle and opened an office in San Francisco to accommodate the company’s recent and expected growth. The 5000+-square-foot headquarters, located at The Sterling Building (1418 Third Avenue, suite 300), a “green” building in downtown Seattle, houses corporate employees, of which more than half were hired within the last year. Mpire’s San Francisco office will house the company’s west coast sales operations, and complements the company’s east coast office in New York City. The company plans to hire additional employees in 2010 to meet the growing demand for AdXpose®.
